Yura S.A. was established in 1966 to become one of the most important development hubs in the southern region of the country. Yura is specialized in the production and commercialization of high quality cement, achieving the satisfaction of the highest product and service requirements. It carries out its distribution mainly through the AConstruir Business Network, becoming a leader in its market of influence.

Yura S.A. is part of the Gloria Group and has demonstrated, through significant investments made in recent years, its commitment to the development process in Peru, as well as the internationalization of the brand through its operations in Chile, Bolivia and Ecuador.

History

Se instaló la línea I de producción de Yura. Producción 520 TM / día.

Se trabaja por primera vez los cementos adicionados. Producción 620 TM /día.

Se instala la línea II de producción de Yura | Primeras exportaciones a Chile | 1,916 TM / día.

Yura es adquirida por la empresa Gloria S.A. de capitales peruanos.

Se instala un nuevo horno Humbolt en la línea II.

Se realiza la expansión internacional a Bolivia.

Se inaugura la línea III de producción. Se realiza la expansión internacional a Chile y Brasil. Se adquiere a la empresa SOBOCE. Producción 13,500 TM / día.

Se realizan envíos al extranjero, y se logra un crecimiento de 215%.

Se realiza la puesta en marcha del nuevo molino vertical.

Yura S.A. cumple 50 años consolidándose con la presencia en 5 paises, 8 plantas en Perú, Bolivia y Ecuador. Yura realiza el Lanzamiento de su nueva imagen.

Obtiene la primera estrella del sello de reconocimiento Huella de Carbono Perú.

Yura adquiere el 19.71% de acciones de cementos Bio Bio (CBB).

Obtiene la segunda estrella del sello de reconocimiento Huella de Carbono Perú.

Yura S.A. was the first cement manufacturing company in Peru to obtain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications for its Quality Management System and Environmental Management System, which were obtained in 1998 and 2002, respectively.

In 2021, Yura S.A. certified its Occupational Health and Safety Management System under the ISO 45001:2018 standard, demonstrating the proper prevention of accidents, injuries, illnesses, and incidents. These certifications (ISO 9001 - ISO 14001 - ISO 45001) have been maintained to the present day through rigorous external audits by a globally recognized Certification Body, showcasing our commitment to delivering products of the highest quality and conducting our processes with safety and environmental care.

CARBON FOOTPRINT CERTIFICATION

We are the first cement company to achieve a 2-star rating in carbon footprint certification.

As the Yura family, we are proud to share that we have obtained the second star of the Carbon Footprint - Peru certification, awarded by the Ministry of Environment, making us the first cement company to achieve this milestone.

Quality Carbon Footprint

Yura S.A. has received the "Quality Carbon Footprint" certificate, which proves that the calculation of the Product Carbon Footprint of three of our cement types has been carried out in compliance with internationally recognized standards. Our 1P enhanced cement is the one that generates lower greenhouse gas emissions than Portland cement (cement without additives), which makes it an eco-friendly product.
