School Campaign
As a support to parents and with the aim of contributing to children’s education, Yura S.A. has provided school kits to students in preschool, primary, and secondary education from the communities within our area of influence. This support ensures that children have the necessary and essential school supplies to start the academic year.
Summer Courses
In the summer courses program, workshops on crafts, dance, self-defense, painting, theater, mini chef, and clowns have been conducted for children between the ages of 4 and 13. The directly benefited communities are La Estación, Porvenir, Baños, Calera, and Yura Viejo.
Teacher Training Program
Through this program, the teaching staff of public educational institutions in La Estación, El Porvenir, La Calera, and Yura Viejo has been trained in order to develop and strengthen socio-emotional skills in early childhood, primary, and secondary education teachers. This enables them to optimize their teaching and learning processes in the classroom and promote teamwork among colleagues.
Therefore, during the year 2022, we conducted training workshops, with the last one taking place on October 13, 2022. The training focused on Emotional Education and Teamwork and was conducted in person at the Paz Auditorium in Peru.
Psychological Sessions
In September 2022, three psychological sessions were conducted with teachers, students, and representatives of the Parent-Teacher Association (APAFAs) from educational institutions within our direct area of influence.
These sessions were carried out in collaboration with university professors and students from the School of Psychology at UTP (Universidad Tecnológica del Perú). The objective was to conduct a Psychosocial Diagnosis in order to plan future psychological interventions for the student population in our area of influence based on the identified needs.
