Children’s Nutrition Program
Nutrition is a crucial aspect of children’s growth and development. Therefore, in coordination with the Juan Pablo II Health Center in Yura, we carry out the “Growing Strong” Nutrition Program every year. This program involves the monthly distribution of nutritional supplements to children after monthly evaluations of weight, height, and screening for hemoglobin and parasitic infections. Due to the pandemic, this program had to be suspended, but we will resume it in 2023.
Elderly Health Program
Yura S.A. and the Juan Pablo II Health Center in Yura, in order to provide support and assistance to the elderly in our direct area of influence, carry out the annual “Walking Together” Elderly Program. This program includes medical campaigns and recreational workshops such as crafts, physical activities, memory exercises, and more. Due to the pandemic, this program had to be suspended, but we will resume it in 2023.
Likewise, donations of Gloria products are made periodically. The last delivery was made in September 2022, benefiting 120 senior citizens in our direct area of influence.
Medical Campaign
Together with the Juan Pablo II Health Center in Yura, we conduct Medical Campaigns focusing on screening for diabetes, anemia, parasitic infections, and cholesterol. Additionally, we organize ophthalmological campaigns. These campaigns are carried out periodically and target the population within our direct area of influence.
