Employability Training Program

This program started on September 24, 2022, and will continue into the following year. Its objective is to develop and strengthen soft skills in young people, enabling them to be more competitive and employable in the current job market. The topic “Activate your personal brand for a more competitive world” was taught, benefiting 20 residents from our direct area of influence during this year.

Dream Builder Entrepreneurship Training Program

This program aims to provide training to residents from our direct area of influence in Business Management, offering them tools on how to start or improve a small business. The program has been designed by Thunderbird School of Global Management (one of the top Business Schools in the world affiliated with Arizona State University). Throughout this year, two modalities have been developed.

  • Virtual Modality: It started on October 7, 2022, and will continue until the end of November. There are 15 beneficiaries in this first class.
  • In-person Modality: It started on October 12, 2022, and will continue until December. There are 15 beneficiaries in this first class.

This program consists of twelve courses that can be completed in approximately 30 hours. It provides training on topics related to entrepreneurship, market research, marketing, brand management, customer relations, human resources management, financial analysis, pricing products or services, among others. Upon completion of the program, each beneficiary receives their own BUSINESS PLAN and also obtains a free certificate in the name of Thunderbird School of Global Management. Additionally, there is a Finance Course that takes approximately three hours to complete, and upon finishing it, participants receive a second free certificate in the name of Thunderbird School of Global Management.

The program has a virtual platform where beneficiaries can navigate and receive support from advisors.

Empowerment and Leadership Training Program

This program started on October 3, 2022, and will continue into the following year. Its objective is to develop and strengthen socio-emotional skills in participants, enabling them to become leaders and agents of change at an individual, family, and community level. The program has a duration of 2 months and so far, it has benefited 20 residents from our direct area of influence. The closing ceremony for the first group of beneficiaries took place on November 16 of the current year.

Additionally, additional workshops are provided on leadership and teamwork, specifically targeting teenagers and leaders from our direct area of influence.

Short Courses

As part of the “Entrepreneurial Women” Program, short courses in crafts, painting, etc., are conducted each year. The aim is to impart knowledge and develop skills in women from our direct area of influence, enabling them to improve or increase income opportunities in their households. In December 2022, the program will be resumed, starting with a felt crafts course that had to be suspended due to the pandemic.

Digital Marketing Training Program for Entrepreneurs

The objective of this program is to provide participants with knowledge and skills in marketing, enabling them to grow their own business by better understanding customer needs and sales strategies to reach a wider audience. The program focuses on using digital tools that are in high demand today.

It has a duration of 18 hours and is conducted entirely online. The program is conducted in collaboration with the Institute of Entrepreneurs at San Ignacio de Loyola University. This program started on December 7, 2022.
